Excellent rosé Champagne from Ruinart - the oldest Champagne house. A blend of 85% Grand Cru Chardonnay and 15% Grand Cru Pinot Noir from Verzenay and Verzy. 1990 was one of the great vintages for Champagne and the best are still ageing and drinking very well.

From magnum - light medium orange pink color with lots of speedy, tiny bubbles; toasty, truffle, dried porcini mushroom, light caramel nose; delicious, toasty, rich but poised, tart raspberry, tart cranberry, mineral palate with great acidity; long finish. 94+ points
