A bottle of the rare 1961 Vieux Chateau certan. Label damaged on the bottom and a little cellar stained; capsule has some corrosion; level to top shoulder with no signs of seepage; colour clear and bright with a mahogany hue when a light shone through the glass.


Michael Broadbent in his "Vintage Wine" says: "bouquet of coffee and ginger; sweet, soft, fleshy, good fruit and acidity" 4 stars
