Description

For auction: One bottle of 1959 Pommery Rose Royal Champagne.

Bottle in very good condition - almost as new. All labels, foil and wire cage in very good condition. One or two small nicks in the foil. Oustanding for 50 years old. Been stored in cool dark conditions almost since new. Cannot see the level because of the foil and the bottle is dark, so I have not given this. There is no evidence to suggest this is not excellent however. No evidence of evaporation or seepage.

EXTREMELY rare bottle. Only one I have seen for sale is one from the lesser 1950 vintage. That one is for nearly £500.

Bottle will be very securely packaged and sent by insured courier. Insurance will be equal to or higher than amount paid by buyer. Therefore, the postage cost given here may change.
