Capsule: some crusting but no signs of seepage.

Robert Parker writes
"Especially outstanding in the '79 vintage. Palmer is rich and concentrated, with slightly less body than the 1978 but perhaps more charm and finesse. Quite dark in color , with an opulent bouquet of freshy fruit, cedar, and tarry, truffle scent, this is moderately tannic and quite flavourful. Palmer's 1979 is one of the best wines of the vintage".
