FOR SALE: ONE BOTTLE OF 1981 BOLLINGER RD CHAMPAGNE WITH BOX

As you will hopefully see from the pictures, this bottle is being sold in excellent condition, having been very well stored since release.

Bollinger RD - like Perignon's Oenotheque and Krug's Clos du Mesnil/Collection - undergoes extended aging on the lees (8 years plus in the case of RD) and is marketed as the house's top champagne. This particular bottle was was disgorged in June 1999 after aging for 18 years. This is a very nice example; and I would doubt that there are many others out there - available from retailers/brokers even - that would be in such condition.

There are no bottles available in the UK from retailers/brokers from what I can see. Please see the prices on wine-searcher that are currently payable in Europe. I can confirm that a very fair and sensible reserve significantly below these has been set.

This bottle will be sent securely packaged and fully insured, on receipt of cleared payment. Alternatively, collection in person can be arranged. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
