The wine's zesty acidity brings everything into extraordinary clarity. With plenty of botrytis evident, this is a full-bodied, super-concentrated, fascinating, powerful yet elegant Sauternes that will age beautifully for 25-30 years. Anticipated maturity: 2001-2030." "9/14/2012 - CELLARBORD WROTE: 92 Points
Sweet, honey, medium to big bodied. Acidity improved with breathing. A nice match with Foie Gras. A lot of character from an older vintage.

8/28/2012 - BON VIVANT WROTE: 94 Points
From 375: color light gold young looking. Orange marmalade dominates the aromas upon opening and within a few minutes this gains complexity with notes of honey and cloves. This is not too sweet and the mouth feel is lively and easy going with an airy lightness that makes this so easy to drink. There is great structure and the finish is complex and with a perfect amount of acidity and the spice from the noble rot keeps coming out in waves. If you pay attention you realize just how darn good this is -or you can just suck it down and enjoy. This has many more years ahead of itself but not a problem at all right now -tasty stuff."

Pristine condition and impeccable provenance. Cellared in a climate controlled cellar since release.
