This wine should still be drinking at its peak as Robert Parker believes the 1990 vintage in Burgundy offers an exceptionally broad window of drinkability:-

"At the top levels the red wines are the finest red wine Burgundies I have ever tasted.I have never seen a vintage that is as darkly colored,with such sumptuous,rich,thick fruit.Moreover,many of these wines possess excellent structure and moderate levels of sweet tannins.The 1990 is one of those rare red Burgundy vintages that will offer an exceptionally broad window of drinkability.Qualitatively,it towers above the 1988 and 1985 vintages"
