Two mature bottles from the '94 vintage with very high levels, perfect labels and capsules.

12/26/2014 - PBAEK WROTE:
Lovely, mature Chateauneuf du Pape in a refined subtle style. Spicy, underbrush, dried red fruit. Drinking perfectly now like so many other 1994s.

5/4/2014 - TONY DUB LIKES THIS WINE: 88 Points
Still good on opening and first pour, but declined rapidly in the glass. Past its best. Do not decant - it will accelerate the oxidisation. Best shared and drunk quickly, rather than drunk over an evening

9/25/2011 - CARLKALLEN WROTE: 89 Points
See-through Garnet with medium-high legs/tearing/viscocity. Red currant/Strawberry aroma with a tingle of forest and muskiness coming through. Red Currants and medium acidity with a prevalency of light tannins. Bottle with crystalized sediments. The wine will drink for an additional 10 years, minimum -still enough backbone to last it through to 2021
