Description

TWO lots of TWO bottles.

All four are in remarkably good and original condition having been professionally cellared under bond until very recently.

Established well before the first known records dating from 1841 and a St Emilion Grand Cru since 1954 Chauvin is situated on the limits of St Emilion where it meets with Pomerol.
50% new oak barrels each vintage.

The label's similarity with Cheval Blanc is explained by the fact the previous owners (Fourcaud-Laussac) also owned Cheval Blanc next door..

Consultant Oenologue: Michel Roland.

Since 1994 no herbicides nor pesticides are used at Chauvin.
