Description

"Classy scent, not surprising as it comes from the Ducru Beaucaillou stable. Very spicy and delicious. Soft and flavoury at five years old. Again,in 2010,such wonderful black fruit on the nose. Blisteringly healthy,in that 2005 way - everything went right in this vintage. So plummy and so rich - a real winner in this category".

According to Robert Parker,Bruno Borie,proprietor of Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou has produced his best Lalande-Borie ever in the outstanding 2005 claret vintage:-

"A sleeper of the vintage as well as the finest wine I have yet tasted from this estate,Borie has turned out a graceful,charming,seductive St.Julien possessing a dense purple color and sweet cassis fruit intermixed with forest floor,spice box,and earth characteristics.This is a beauty to drink over the next decade".
