The 2006 Greenock Shiraz comes from one of the estates young vineyards, but you would never know this on taste. It is a glass-coating purple colour with an expressive bouquet of smoke, mineral, bacon and blueberry. Layered, bordering on opulent, the wine has superior depth of flavour. plenty of savoury spice notes and a lengthy finish. This is a classy, refined wine with a harmonious balance that will reward time in the cellar, will be at its best 2011 to 2020.
