"This exceptionally pretty effort is still very much on the way up with elegant and ultra-pure aromas of red pinot fruit with background hints of stone, spice and earth. There lilting and equally refined middle weight flavors possess really lovely detail and energy though the finish remains linear and still somewhat stiff. I have tasted this wine several times in the last few months and I would strongly recommend leaving it to age further as it is not showing anywhere close to its full potential at this early stage. Indeed I was able to try the remains of one bottle 24 hours later and it was remarkable how much weight it had put on. All of which says that if you're tempted to try an example anytime soon I would advise giving it an hour in a decanter first."
