1x bottle of 2002 Chassagne Montrachet, by Chateau de Chassagne Montrachet Domaine Bader-Mimeur.
Bottle in perfect condition and fill level into neck.

The Chassagne-Montrachet Chassagne-Montrachet Village "Château de Chassagne-Montrachet" of Domaine Bader-Mimeur is a Chardonnay white wine produced from vines aged 35 years on average, on clay-limestone soils. The aging of the wine is carried out in French oak barrels (of which 20% are new), for 12 months and with regular stirring.

It displays a pretty bright yellow colour. The nose, a bit discrete in its youth, releases fragrances of white-fleshed fruits and subtle notes of petroleum on a mellow woodiness on ageing. The wine is superbly tense on the palate, offering a balanced finish and a beautiful structure that gives it a very good aging potential.

This is now at its drinking peak, with added tertiary complexity in perfect harmony with the primary fruit and secondary flavours. The concentration on the nose and palate are pronounced and the finish is long, with layers of flavour clusters evolving throughout time. An excellent pairing for fish, cheese, foie gras and white meats.
