Description

The 2 bottles are in quite good condition for 45 years old.

The levels appear to be top shoulder and high shoulder.

The labels are full but with a number of small nicks which show up as the old Rouget labels were quite dark.

The corks feel firm and the capsules are intact although somewhat worn and one has a small gash on the top. All should be visible from the photos.

I do need to point out that a customer had a bottle of 1969 Rouget earlier this year and found that it had gone. It could have been that particular bottle but it is only reasonable to refer to this when looking at a wine of this age. There does not appear to be any seepage and the levels are very high considering the age of the wine.
