Description

This is a fabulous bottle of Meursault-Charmes 2004 from Comtes Lafon. The bottle is in superb condition, with just a few nicks and marks to the label from the shelving in the Eurocave where it has been stored. The capsule is clean and there are no signs of seepage.

(tasted from tank, where it was fined two weeks before my visit) Complex aromas of lemon, minerals, wet stone, clove and marzipan. Sweet, pure and explosively fruity, with sexy nutty oak adding complexity to the peach and apricot flavors. A big, rich, lush wine with superb breadth on the back end. Lafon noted that this wine closed up completely after the July '05 racking but was now tasting good again. 92-94 points

The bottle can be shipped to you or you can collect from North Wiltshire or Central London during the working week. If you pay using Paypal their 4% fees will be added to the invoice. A bank transfer is the simplest payment route and has no charges.
