Description

For those who already do know the wines of Dugat-Py and haven't taste this wine yet, it might seem strange that this great red wine producer has started producing, since some time now, white wines as well. I am one of those who were also sceptical until I tasted this wine and all the rest of the white wines range. The producing method is exactly the same: very hard work in the vineyard, low yields coming from old or very old vines, no intervention in the cellar.
The result is this splendid 1er Cru with yellow fruits aromas and patisserie finish in a very good vintage for the Chardonnay in Burgundy. As all wines of Dugat-Py also this one needs some time to fully develop and express its character, although it can be tasted already now paired with fish based dishes, white meat or simply alone.

2011 is the first vintage for this 1er Cru and the price you will get here you won't find anywhere else. Only 1000 bottles produced on average each year.
