Description

The best site in Nuits St Georges. Possibly the best producer too. I can't find this anywhere on sale in the UK. Should be approaching drinkability but best stored to reveal its glory in a few years.

"Good, fullish, fresh colour. Very lovely nose. Riper and richer than many 1996. Fatter and more creamy aswell, which is even more important. Very pure. Very lovely fruit. On the palate medium-full body. A little unresolved tannin. Slightly adolescent. Good grip. When it mellows, this will be very delicious. Underneath there is great class. Now to 2025."
