Description

WHAT: Reliable Domaine Dujac, villages Morey St Denis. I found a few comments on the 2010 (also listed by me on Bidforwine), but not much on the more ripe, fatter 2009. In 2012 the Winehog website wrote:

"The 2009 Domaine Dujac wines are starting to shape up – and the Morey-Saint-Denis village is showing beautifully. In the bouquet red berry fruit – much more focused than a year ago – with quite delicate notes of strawberries and raspberries. On the palate well balanced with lovely midpalate fruit – good focus and length. Still some slightly stewed notes … need time to integrate fully. A very good village wine in the making – charming! (Drink from 2019)"

WHY: I'm going to sell this bottle, and probably more, in order to buy twice as many bottles of something half the price!

PRICE: No reserve! The only mark on Winesearcher.com is about £180/bt, duty and VAT paid, (and I promise that's not a wine shop owned by me publicising a supportive price!)

HISTORY: I bought a case of 12 en primeur from uncorked.co.uk and have stored it 'in bond' with LCB/Vinotheque since. I'm going to pay the Duty and VAT, have it delivered to me, then pass it to the winning bidder.

PROVENANCE: I'd say pretty much perfect: LCB are going to deliver it to me; then I'll send it or hand it to the buyer days later. During those "days" I'll keep it in my Liebherr GrandCru at 12C.

WANT MORE? if you are interested in buying more than one bottle, please send me a message and I'll consider listing up to 5 more.

DELIVERY: I'd be very happy to hand the bottle to you personally at any London Zone 1 tube station; probably quite happy at almost any Zone 2 tube station too. Otherwise, let me know what delivery provider you'd like me to use, I'll organise it, and add the cost (no mark up) to the invoice. So I'd guess that a proper delivery cost to mainland UK will be £10-18. Obviously if you're someone interested in buying up to five more bottles, I'd wait and send up to all six bottles at once, thereby reducing the delivery cost per bottle.

PHOTOS: (The photo shown is a 'stock' photo, not the actual bottle being sold). It doesn't really make sense for me to pay £20 for LCB/Vinotheque to unpack the case, and photograph all bottles in order to sell one. I will happily email proof of my ownership from purchase 'en primeur' to anyone who requests it.
