Decanted and filtered . Capped off a terrific meal and then evening of wine tasting. Cork was soft, but the port was still in great shape. This was hitting on all cylinders. Mature, cassis, plum, and spiced flavors. Long finish.

LOVE IT. Classic port, candied fruit, cherry, plum, fig, less raisin. Sweet, silky smooth, why I love port.

Opened two days before the tasting the port showed a youthful freshness and fruit. Not too sweet and served a bit chilled the alcohol was modest in the taste. Purity and a perfect balance and maybe a few years to go to gain 95/96 points.
