Good stuff. Drank from a bottle with recent leakage but level at mid shoulder. Quite hot but still very alive. Very smooth, as you would expect from a 50 year old wine. Still quite sweet

A shame to only own one of these. The wine makes a mockery of the current trend towards pink port. This is the real thing, and all you needed was to cellar the red version for 50 years. Even immediately on opening, the nose is stunning. The wine offers a primary note of molten white chocolate and pomegranate, then spices, vanilla, hints of something floral.
