Description

1x bottle of Domaine Jean Michel Giboulot from the 1er Cru vineyard 'Aux Serpentieres'. Bottle in perfect condition as seen on the photos. Kept in a cool and dark underground store for a few months since arrival in UK.
This bottle is extremely rare, since productions from this vineyard is very small.
2017 is a beautiful vintage in Burgundy with reduce production since spring frosts damaged some early shoots, but the lower quantity of fruit bunches then benefitted from more nutrients and flavour concentration during growing and ripening stages.
This wine is a testimony to it.
It is also farmed following 100% biodynamic methods and minimal intervention techniques. Giboulot wines are described as 'balanced, precise, and elegant'. He is a rising start of the Cote d'Or.
It is drinking beautifully now, but will also last in bottle for many years to come.
