Description

This lot is a single bottle of Maison Roche de Bellene Lavaut Saint Jacques Premier Cru 2009. The wine has an impeccable pedigree and comes from the delightful 2009 vintage. It has been stored in my Eurocave sin purchase on release and is in excellent condition. The level is well into the neck, the capsule is immaculate and the label has only minor marks on it.

For a review from ST:

Bright, dark red. Subdued but pure aromas of red berries, smoky minerals and sweet oak. Ripe, broad, supple and sweet, but without quite the precision of the Cazetiers. The sweet cherry flavor is joined by strong oaky torrefaction notes of espresso and chocolate. Finishes with substantial but ripe tannins. 89-92 points

The wine can be shipped or collected from Wiltshire or Central London during the working week.
