Only a dozen major shipper declared. Some good wines and seriously undervalued. A top 1982 **** now to 2015 Michael Broadbent

Amazing stuff, present immediately after opening the bottle, aromas so dense, strawberry, plum, cherry, clove, banana, well-integrated wood. An absolute joy!

11/26/2008 - FRED3F WROTE:92 Points
Some signs fo seepage. On opening was very alcoholic and closed - decanted. 24 hours later it was still too alcoholic but beginning to open up. Some cherry notes
48 hours later alcohol better integrated but still slightly dominate. Fruit opening up. Strawberries and and a hint of plum.
Next day (day 4) strawberries and plums but much fresher - lemon zest also. Alcohol now integrated.
Day 5: Much more mellow with strong plum flavors. Has lost some of its depth but its taste has broadened greatly. Good - no excellent length on finish.
Day 6: Even more mellow and smooth dark rich plum with underlining hints of banana - changing to fresh plum then blackberry and current with a long long finish of raspberries. Hard to say but this may be the peak.
Day 8 (we were busy on day 7) All the flavors are there with the addition of cherries, and some earthy notes. The alcohol is also more obvious which is a bit of an off note, but not too much so. But the variety of flavors is amazing. We had fun taking a good sip and rolling it around on the top of the tongue. It was like an ever changing fruit ball sometimes cherry the berry then banana then plumb etc.
Day 9: The alcohol is now integrated again. Prunes and plums. a much more mellow taste tonight
Day 11 (we missed day 10) Lemony flavors not dominate.
