The 2000 Cote Rotie Cuvee Classique exhibits a dark ruby/purple color in addition to an elegant nose of cassis fruit, dried herbs, and spice. The wine, which was resting in demi-muids, reveals low acidity, a soft, elegant style, and medium body. This pretty, precocious Cote Rotie should drink well during its first 10-12 years of life.

this has come round suddenly - went through a cassis leaf phase. Now bouquet is well cut, mixes some tar and flowers. Fruit is stylish and elegantly woven. Has a quite direct shape. Very handsome, gives a simple sense of pleasure and drinks cleanly. 2015-18 April 2006 Previously was *** open aromas, raspberry/cassis, bit of jam; straight elegance, red fruits present, nice licorice/vanilla length.
