I bought 6 bottles of Seguinot 1963 cognac at auction from Bonhams about 2 years ago. I’ve managed to drink one and a half of them since then, and as it’s going to take me a while to get through the others I thought I would sell one or two.

There was quite a bit of ullage from the bottles when purchased, which has resulted in them being fairly oxidized. The flavour is a very mellow blend of cognac and Madeira. A really pleasant post-prandial drink, and possibly a good present for someone born in 1963 – would make a change from port anyway.

The labels are unfortunately very fragile, and parts of them had disintegrated when I bought them. The information above is cobbled together from all of the labels that I had. As you can see from the photo, this one has a stripe missing where it has been removed from racking, but you can just make out the ’63.
