"This smells nutty with a touch of honey, as if there’s some older reserve wine added to the latest vintage; and it’s deliciously, seductively full-bodied and rich on the palate, full-flavoured too with a seductive creamy textured mousse, lots of melt-in-the-mouth yeasty complexity and undertones of honey and nuttiness. On this evidence, this classic blend of 40% Chardonnay and 30% each Pinot Noir and Meunier should be just right for the festive period."

Taittinger is one of the few Champagne houses still owned and managed by the family whose name appears on the label. Largely consisting of Chardonnay, this is a subtle and complex Champagne with all the class you would expect from such a great house.
