Description

Provenance is a house clearance situation (probate).

Gentleman kept a modest, old-school cellar at his rural home.

Possibly some tiny perforations to the top of the capsule, which appears to be slightly domed. Staining to bottom-side paper label to neck. This being said, the fill-level is good.

The bottle glass colour is standard (i.e. very dark) green, and assessment of ullage required a strong lamp behind; ullage is estimated to be between 4.5 and 5.0cm (the size of the cork is obscured by the wax) which is Very Top Shoulder, if not Base of Neck. (Ullage is indicated with a pen in one of the photographs.)

Some minor wear to the label.

Will ship in airseal-type protective packaging, within a double-walled cardboard box.
