Two lots of THREE bottles.

All in impeccable condition with very high levels - just under the corks.

In pleasingly heavy bottles, not the thin weedy rubbish associated with lesser generic Côtes bottles.

This is serious stuff and is imported by both The Wine Society and Tanners of Shrewsbury.

Cotes du Rhone Villages Laudun is an appellation for quality red, white and rosé wines from the parish of Laudun in the southern half of the Rhone valley in France. Laudun is one of about 20 villages (this figure changes every few years) that are permitted to add their names to the Cotes du Rhone Villages appellation, having been identified as producing higher-quality wines distinctive of the regional style. The wines of the Cotes du Rhone Villages appellation are a step up in quality from those of the Cotes du Rhone title but are not regarded with the same esteem as 'crus' such as Cornas or Hermitage.

Laudun is located on the banks of the small Tave river (a tributary of the Rhone), to the west of the town of Orange. The climate here is Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers bringing excellent ripening potential to the Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre grapes
