1 x Terre de Pietra Valpolicella Piccolo Peste 2016

Pier Paolo Antolini and his brother Stefano took over their family vineyard in the early 90s on the hills Marano, San Pietro in Cariano and Negrar in Valpolicella. Their wines are in some ways modern being very bright and full of delicious fruity corvina aromas. However, natural farming and wild yeasts give these wines a genuine sense of identity. Although they aim for body and fullness of flavour. The brothers use very little new oak and the wines are very fresh. Both Amarones have stunning concentration and are awe inspiringly good. Amarone Moropio Antolini is one of the most perfectly balanced and elegant Amarones out there, and it's organic! and it is over 16% abv!!

Terre di Pietra was born from the will of Laura, who in 2005, at the age of 25, produced her first wine, helped by her husband, Cristiano, and her father-in-law, who left her a garage for the first vinifications, in Torbe di Negrar! The approach to viticulture that is as natural as possible comes from its own tradition and culture, so that from the outset no synthetic products are used in the vineyards, and they are found partly in his country, Marcellise, in the new area of ​​Valpolicella, east of Verona. From the 2013 vintage, all the wines are spontaneously fermented and chemical corrections are not used if not the use of sulfur dioxide and filtrations. The journey started is aimed at producing a completely natural wine, gradually removing sulfur and filtering the wines less and less , while maintaining a good quality standard, for fine and elegant wines.
