FOR SALE; ONE BOTTLE OF 1959 CHATEEU LAFLEUR POMEROL

Very rare bottle being sold in very good condition for its age. Label and capsule fully intact and showing signs of callar storage only. Level and wine hue very good.

Chateau Lafleur is a very small producer who's quality of it's wine have often matched or exceeded Petrus in exceptional vintages. Production levels are typically around 1000 cases a year. Consequently, older vintage bottles like this one are very rare nowdays. As you probably know, 1959 was an exceptional vintage and all signs point to this mature bottle still to be drinking very very well indeed.

Values of this bottle in excellent vintages often reach into thousands of pounds. Availability of the 1959 is very scarce indeed (non existent in the UK), but the poor 1955 vintage is available in the UK for £1600+ and the brilliant 1961 is out there for £6000. A sensible reserve has been placed on this particular bottle.

This bottle will be send very securely packaged and fully insured the buyer on receipt of cleared payment. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. Please also see my other bottles for sale, including other such heavyweight wines (Petrus, Latour etc) from stellar 20th century vintages. Lastly, please by all means see my feedback attained whilst I have traded on BfW. It is very important to me that everything I sell is very accurately described and received by the buyer in the condition it is auctioned by me. My feedback score and commentary is I believe, testament to this.
