Slightly soiled label.

Bottle number 1359 of 2000.
Only 2000 methuselah were made and released for the Millennium each individually numbered and bearing a plaque with the owner's name.

Champagne’s Louis Roederer released a very special series of six-litre methuselah to celebrate the start of the third millennium. Just 2000 of these large formats were made, the 1990 Cristal vintage, disgorged especially for each extremely lucky person who was fortunate to get one, and bottled in an especially moulded six-litre bottle bearing ‘2000’. Wrapped in the house cellophane to protect the wine and housed in a specially designed case. John Woodget was one of the lucky few to have received one of these limited editions, the equivalent of 8 regular sized bottles.
