Description

In 2006 Chateau Troplong Mondot was awarded their well deserved promotion to Premier Grand Cru Classé B status, which was upheld in the recent 2012 St. Emilion classification.

Due to their unique, cooler terroir on the top of the slopes, with large deposits of clay, Troplong Mondot is often one of the last, St. Emilion vineyards to be harvested.

Chateau Troplong Mondot offers a unique style. It’s thick and rich in the mouth, but never heavy. The sensuous wine offers scents of dark plums, liquorice, blackberries, coffee, spice, dark cherries, stone, chocolate, flowers and blackberry liqueur. More sensuous than elegant on the palate, there is an intensity of flavours, coupled with the ability to age and evolve.

This is now fully mature & ready to be consumed.
