When to drink: 2010 to 2020
Very dark crimson though not as deep as, say, the Cockburn. Rather raw and callow on the nose. Thick and sweet and syrupy. Lots of astringence and rather simple, boiled fruit flavours. But there is richness and a nice dry streak here too. May get there in the end. Jancis Robinson
