Very dark purplish crimson. Unformed peppery nose. Extremely voluptuous, satiny fruit followed by lots of acidity and tannin – just a baby but a very bonny baby indeed. Should provide great port drinking eventually. Violets, perfume, nice dry finish. Jancis Robinson
