Green Chartreuse is made from a recipe from the 18th century, containing 130 plants, herbs, and flowers handcrafted by Carthusian Monks in the French Alps. VEP, Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé (Exceptionally Long Aged), is the rarified, long-aged version, carefully selected by the monks each year and first produced in 1963. This release is bottled at 54% ABV.
