RARE!
"Courvoisier Three Star Luxe"...
...bottled in the 1960s or 1970s (I think).

Bought by grandad in duty free on a trip to the US; brought home and left in the back of a cupboard until discovered recently by me.

Level is mid/bottom shoulder, but capsule perfectly intact (see photos).

Liquid in bottle was originally 1 quart (c950ml) but the angels have stolen some over the years!

According to thewhiskyexchange.com this spirit seems to be from a time when Courvoisier were still using "direct-fire stills," which apparently produced "fuller, fruitier" cognac.

The same website has half a dozen bottles from the same era listed here and priced between £150 and £250:
