The following info is offered in good faith, as I know far less about Cognac than wine & whisky. But despite no mention on the labeling of this being an XO, I'm confident to advertise it so, as from my research it appears all Vespers from this producer are XOs.
This seems to be the bottle and label design pre-dating the current offering (which explicitly states XO), and I have found examples from the 70s up the late 90s. The guy I bought this from thought it came into his possession around '95, but of course there's no guarantee it was "new" then. Anyway, what this all means is that the contents are made from grapes exclusively from the superior Grand Champagne region and has been aged for 35 years.
What I can tell you with absolute certainty is that is it a very fine brandy indeed. I bought two identical bottles, and am halfway thorough polishing off the other. It's so wonderful, in fact, that it has piqued my interest to explore this particular tipple further - I had no idea!
