One of many bottles sold as part of the December 11, 2008, William Leacock madeira auction at Christies in London.
This is a 1 litre bottle. I believe it was bottled for Leacock family consumption - believed late 19th century. Some notes suggest around 1900 and bottled in the 1920's.
