Description

Here I am offering a second chance to acquire a half bottle of Cantenac Brown 1943 for those who missed out last time. Label in good condition for age, but foil corroded on top. Level is at lower mid-shoulder (see image). I opened one of a similar level 2nd October 2011 and the cork was in excellent condition. Initally an aroma and flavour of cedarwood; after 30 minutes rich summer fruits; after an hour a deep blackcurranty richness.

This is an old wine so expect some bottle variation. These wines have been stored undisturbed in a humid cellar for many years.
