this brion is being sold in great cellar condition.the label is in excellent condition. the capsule is perfect with no signs of damage. The level of the wine is medium shoulder which is fantastic for the age of this wine. the average point score for this wine is 97. This is a great opportunity to purchase an iconic wine.

from a good looking bottle with a high (not top) shoulder fill i wasn't sure how strong this wine would be. the colour looked excellent with a deep red centre with some orange at the rim. The high intensity nose was ethereal, showing hot stones,black fruits, tobacco, brown spices, and gravel.
As expected this wine needs over two hours of air to show its best. in the mouth it was ripe and round and yet refined and long at the same time. The flavours hung in my mouth for what seemed like an eternity. by the end of the night the wine really begged for food because of the substantial rounded tannin and powerful flavours. a tour de force!
This wine tastes great now and should easily last another decade well stored. Outstanding!
