Yes that's right, 1944 Palmer and with a fantastic level. As you might expect, the label is not looking like it has just come off the bottling line, but is clear. This is from a superb cellar in Yorkshire, all the wines kept in cracking conditions for many decades. This is a very, very rare bottle and would be unique for sale in the uk, were it not for the other bottle that I also have for sale. The level of this one is firmly into the neck - incredible for a wine of this age.
