1934 Château Mouton Rothschild;
Bttl 111,730 Cork soaked and pulverized on opening, low shoulder fill, ruby core with orange rim. Some deep notes, sweet tobacco, ripe blackcurrants, violets, prunes, raisins, dades, elegant, sweet anis. Fresh acidity, tannins, gone, elegant and charming, even seductive, but a bit shorter than the 26 Balance is perfect, nice intensity and complexity. 94
There was actually maybe half a glass left the day after, and pouring it, most of the highnotes and complexity of aromas was gone, but still a perfect balance and good fruit and body.
