'The Purkar Valley is in the South of Moldovia, a region which has a perfect climate for growing vines. Negru is made principally from a blaend of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape and the Saperavia, a local variety renowned for its power and ageing qualities. Deep in colour and full flavoured, Negru is produced and then bottled in the Soviet Republic of Moldovia.'
