Due to a non-paying bidder, I'm having to return to my clearout of odd bottles clearout, so here we have an extremely rare BOTTLE of Ayala & Co, Chateau d'Ay 1943...
Generally considered an excellent Champagne vintage.
No scores or prices available on wine-searcher (or anywhere else for that matter) so being sold with a very reasonable reserve!
Label - well, it's over 70 years old so is grubby and has a fair few nicks
Foil - again over 70 years old, but doing fairly well
Level - surprisingly, the reverse ullage is less than 1cm
