**FOR SALE: ONE VERY RARE BOTTLE OF 1955 DOM PERIGNON**
Sold in very good condition for its age, this very very rare bottle was owned and stored from new in the cellar of a French country house until being purchased by myself a couple of years ago. Hopefully you can see from the pictures that the bottle, label, foil and level are very good considering it is over 50 years old. It is currently being stored in cool and dark conditions and is part of my own personal DP collection. It is being auctioned to make way for further bottles of DP.
Current worldwide dealer value of this bottle is from around £540 ex VAT to £880 ex VAT. My reserve is set well below the lower value and is very fair given the age, condition and prestige of this rarest of bottles. It is not often that bottles of DPP of this age are offered for sale; and rarer with a known provenance. If you see my feedback, I have sold many bottles of older vintage DP - and have received excellent feeback for all of them.
