A bottle of 1979 vintage Bollinger Rosé champagne. The bottle has been inside a semi-derelict house (next door to mine) which has not been lived in since 1994. The house was totally overgrown but watertight, weatherproof and not damp. The new owners of the house have asked me to help them sell various items found within the house (including this bottle) as they are not very tech-orientated. We found a variety of bottles in an in-built cupboard in the middle downstairs room of the house which was the darkest room of the house and has no external walls.
The bottle is rather dusty and the label has some scuffs - see the pictures. The metal foil covering the neck is a little dirty but I have not wiped anything as I wanted to preserve it as is. The label’s colour has not faded. The bottle was lying horizontally on top of other wine inside a box. A small part of the label of one of the other bottles has attached itself to the back of the bottle - see pics - but this can be removed.
Please ask if you want to see more images of the bottle. It is currently being stored inside a dark cool cupboard in my kitchen.
Collection can be done in person or the bottle can be sent by courier.
