A bottle of 2eme Cru Classee Chateau Leoville-Poyferre from the legendary 1959 vintage in a rare Chateau bottling.
The bottle is in poor condition and although the fill level is acceptable awful for its age and might suggest a good condition, one might consider this bottle rather as a collectible piece.
The label is still in very good condition witout tears and only with some soiling and age typical discolouration, however the capsule is heavily battered with corrosion/cracks and has seen some seepage.
Packaging will be done with great care, however due to the condition it is possible that some seepage might occur during transit.
The capsule is firmly attached to the bottle and still displays the Leoville-Poyferre stamp despite the damage.
The bottom of the glass bottle shows the typical finishing of a late 1950s/early 60s bottling.
