Siglo is one of the most emblematic brands of appellation Rioja. Nowadays, it is run by Bodegas Manzanos, a winery with more than 127 years of winemaking tradition. Siglo is a symbol of Rioja, and is one of the few brands that still preserve the traditional burgundy bottle. The wines are recognised worldwide for the sacks that wrap their bottles. This is in recgonition of the damp clothes field workers would wrap around their wine bottles to keep them cool throughout the day.
