Founded in 1901 in the mythical Barrio de la Estación de Haro, Bodegas Bilbaínas is the oldest bottling firm in La Rioja. It has the largest area of underground draughts in the territory and the largest area of vineyards in the municipality: 250 hectares of a privileged quality that nourish the winery with its own grapes, which ensures fast processing without loss of quality. Viña Pomal is its flagship brand and embodies the best winemaking tradition of the Rioja Alta; they are exceptional wines that have remained faithful to the classic style of authentic Rioja since its origins.
The Viña Pomal estate consists of 90 hectares of vineyards D.O.Ca. Rioja. Located in the municipality of Haro and less than 2 kilometers from the winery, they are located in one of the most beautiful areas of the city; through them, we can enjoy the passage of the River Ebro through Las Conchas de Haro. Different ecosystems are combined in our farm depending on the variability of the soil and sun exposure, which translates into an exhaustive work of a selection of homogeneous areas
