No tasting notes on the Wine Advocate for this vintage, though the the 1989 and 1990 score 98 and 97 points respectively.
Cellar Tracker has this note, dated 2018:
It was showing quite perfectly. It started just a little musty but that blew off in minutes. The wine probably peaked at 45 minutes open showing beautiful earthy, fruity balance, fine texture, and begged for additional sips. Lots of balance and drinking in a really nice spot. This drank ~92 points most of the night but did have some peaks to 93 during its prime.
I've owned this wine for a number of years, all of which have been in a temperature controlled environment.
